The CBMCC Footpath Group runs several Monday/Tuesday/Friday mornings a month cutting back vegetation and bashing Himalayan balsam on the Deeside Way, Cults Den, Inchgarth and Newton Dee. Sessions are 10am–1pm; dates appear in What's On.
The Trust is working to reopen Cults Library as a community learning centre. Membership is free and helps demonstrate demand to the council.
